It’s officially October and that can only mean one thing… HALLOWEEN!!!! And, of course, Halloween would not be complete without an obligatory trip to Tulleys Farm’s famous Shocktober Fest; a unique and immersive Scream Park, which will certainly get you in the spooky spirit! Why just watch a horror film when you can experience it? Tulleys very kindly invited me along to their celebrity / press night last night, and, once again, their freaky festival did not disappoint - I had the best time! READ MORE

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! In the last weekend of August, I ticked off something which has been top of my bucket list for a while: Reading Festival. If you don’t live in the UK, then basically this is one of the biggest music festivals in the calendar, attracting audiences from all over the world. I’ve always wanted to go, and this year I finally had the opportunity to. Although, to be fair, I did originally accidentally buy a ticket to Leeds (Reading’s Northern sister festival) READ MORE

The sun gloriously infiltrates the outstretched palm leaves above, casting a dappled shade. Soothing splashes of water can be heard in the background, and the warm sand can be felt between your toes. There’s a book in one hand, and an ice-cold drink from the bar in the other. Sounds like the perfect break for a fortnight of relaxation after the stress of exams, right? Right. This is a blog post about my holiday to Gran Canaria! Gran Canaria is the second-most populous of the Canary Islands, located off the North Western coast of Africa. It’s a sweet escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life back home; a place where sunshine is pretty much guaranteed. I feel this blog post is a little over-June, and if you told me that it would already be August when I wrote it I’d say that Ju-lying. I tried. I really tried. Basically, I haven’t uploaded a ‘favourites’ blog post for a long old time, so today I thought I’d share some of my favourite things from the last few months. Time has been moving so quickly ever since my exams ended, and I’ve been a busy bee what with Uni visits, Duke of Edinburgh, working my part-time job and volunteering at my local library… that’s right, I’m a good person. Unfortunately, this has meant I haven’t really had much time to write, but today I wanted to rectify this and share a few of my favourite things! READ MORE

Hello there and welcome back to my blog! As you may have spotted on my Snapchat (jack_edwardss) and Instagram (@jackbenedwards), way back in March I headed out to Denmark with my family for a city break in the captivating capital: Copenhagen. Due to my busy schedule at the time (as well as general procrastination), I never actually had a chance to share my experience of the Danish capital with you all. Today, I wanted to right this wrong and finally share my trip with you, although, presumably, this will only really result in self-pity that I am not currently in Copenhagen. Honestly, I absolutely fell in love with that onion of a city and can’t wait to head back to discover more of its many layers one day. READ MORE
